Colby Denison

President and CEO

Mr. Denison founded Denison Development & Construction (DDC) in 1997 with the clear mission of developing stunning, thoughtful and energy-efficient housing. Starting in custom homes and working with the finest architects in central Texas, DDC honed its skills on a variety of construction techniques and the full range of architectural styles.

In 2003, he led DDC into affordable housing, and brought to that sector a design orientation that is mostly missing. DDC expanded rapidly into multifamily affordable housing and then became a leader in mixed-income senior housing.

In 2014, Mr. Denison created the Skye Collection brand of luxury senior independent living and launched Veritee Property Solutions in order to control every aspect of his housing brands.

Today, DDC and affiliate companies own and operate nearly 1,200 units of housing and are breaking ground on another 220 units.

Denison Oil & Gas (DOG) was founded in 2014 and operates a portfolio of interests in the Bakken, Permian Basin, Canada and California. DOG leverages DDC's expertise in construction and property management. Our latest project to break ground in Midland, Texas is evidence of the connection between DOG and DDC.

Mr. Denison attended the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with dual degrees in Business Honors and Finance from the McCombs School of Business. He lives in Austin with his wife and three children.

Martha Govea

Project Manager

Administrative Queen, Piped Piper of Puppies and a Fitness Fanatic.

• Martha is our go-to girl for administrative tasks.
• Her soul mates are her dog and husband (In no particular order.)
• She aspires to make shopping a competitive sport in the 2020 Olympics
• In her superhero life, she is a pastry chef who gives Martha Stewart a run for her money.

Mona Amin

Operations Manager

Mona has been a part of the team since 2006
She has her hands in every aspect of the business, from planning, developing, constructing, to post construction
She manages all the project budgets and financials
